UPCOMING EVENTS -Fall 2011 Regional Roundtable - Austin, Texas - October 24th-25th

We are having the Texas Fall Regional Church IT Roundtable coming up October 24-25 in Austin, Texas.  The team at Hill Country Bible Church has been kind enough to host our event this year.

Austin is a great location for a roundtable, and we hope you are able to join us for a day of learning from your peers, good food, and building relationships with other church IT professionals. The event will include an informal night of hanging out on the 24th, and a full day of learning on the 25th.  Can't make it the night of the 24th?  No problem!  Austin is a short drive for most of us, so just plan to come the 25th if that helps you get there!

We need your help…
1)  Please help us plan for you by registering SOON at www.citrt.org.  The cost is only $35 and covers food for the roundtable day, (breakfast, lunch, soft drinks) etc.
2)  Spread the word.  Pretty much everyone who attends a roundtable event says that they feel it was worth their time.  Sadly, there are lots of church IT folks out there that feel isolated and unconnected.  Please reach out to them and invite them.  One of the reasons WHY we do this, is to connect with others like us and encourage them.

Please let me know if you have any questions, carpool requests, etc.

So, now you are thinking, what is my part.  Right?  Well I’m glad you asked...  The goal of the Church IT Roundtable is to further community, relationships, and information sharing among IT folks in the church.  So your part in all of this is to spread the word.  Get in touch with the IT folks at churches you have relationships with and let them know about the event.  I firmly believe that building relationships is one of the most important things we can do for kingdom impact.

Also if you are interested in helping with the planning/organizational aspects of our Spring Roundtable, please let me know.

For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.  Eph 1:15-19
